What the site handles

The current service has no account system, payment flow, content-management account, font marketplace, or user-upload library. You can browse the published guides without giving FontGuide your name or email address.

Basic product events

FontGuide records small operational events so failures and core actions can be checked. These events may include a page path, a search result count, an internal font or offer identifier, a PNG result identifier, or an error code. The search words you enter and the text you ask the PNG tool to render are not fields in these product events.

The site also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page usage. FontGuide sends the page path without URL query parameters, search words, or PNG generator text. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the site configuration.

Hosting infrastructure may also process ordinary request information, such as an IP address, user agent, time, and requested path, to deliver and protect the service. These records are not used to build advertising profiles.

Cookies, ads, and outside sites

The site does not run advertising or a consent-management platform. Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies to distinguish visits and produce aggregate reports; these cookies are not used by FontGuide for advertising profiles. Links can take you to font vendors, publishers, official sources, or other independent sites. Those sites control their own data practices after you leave FontGuide.

Retention and changes

Operational records are kept only as long as they remain useful for reliability, validation, and abuse troubleshooting. If FontGuide later adds accounts, advertising, payments, advertising, or materially different analytics, this notice will be updated before those features are used.
