Corrections & Takedown

Good typography research should be correctable, sourced, and responsive to legitimate rights concerns.

Effective August 17, 2026

What to report

Please report factual errors, incorrect font relationships, broken or unsafe source links, license evidence that has changed, and material that you believe infringes your rights. FontGuide can amend, qualify, remove, or temporarily withhold a page while a claim is reviewed.

What to include

  • The FontGuide page URL and the exact statement or material at issue.
  • The requested correction or removal and reliable supporting sources.
  • Your relationship to the work or rights involved, when relevant.
  • A way to reply to you about the request.

Contact status

Send a correction or takedown request. FontGuide will review the evidence and respond through the contact method you provide.

Review approach

Requests are evaluated against the cited source, the current structured record, font licensing evidence, and any proof of authority supplied. A correction will not be treated as an admission of liability, and unsupported requests may be declined with an explanation.
